Building Blocks of Music
Designed for the music lover who is eager to enhance their listening experience by developing a vocabulary which will enable them to understand and describe what they are hearing.
Music Theory Level I
Designed for anyone who is beginning study of a musical instrument whether as an amateur or as a student pursuing a career in music. This course will enhance your understanding of the language of music with a more detailed study and application of the elements of music.
Music Theory Level II
Designed for the student who has a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts covered in Level 1. This level will expand the student’s understanding of the elements of music coupled with an introduction to common compositional techniques.
Music Theory Level III
Designed for the student who wishes to further expand their knowledge of more complex uses of the elements of music. This level will expand your ability to compose for two or more voices: enable you to compose using compound meter; enable you to incorporate extended teritan harmonies; and introduce you to the principles of orchestration and new formal structures.
